SAT English Intensive

The New 1600 SAT is significantly different from earlier versions. The reading, verbal, and essay sections now all test for a student’s ability to read and comprehend texts relevant to college-level coursework (e.g. scientific studies, 19th Century literature, historical speeches). The essay requirements additionally ask students to simulate the kinds of rhetorical analysis and writing ability expected by university instructors. There are no shortcuts to developing strong reading and writing skills, but our course provides powerfully guided, focused practice and the knowledge students need to improve their SAT English scores.
